Agreement and permitted use

By accessing BuildMetric, you agree to these terms. You may use the site and its calculator results for your own lawful personal or business purposes. You may not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, misrepresent BuildMetric content as professional advice, or systematically reproduce the site for a competing product.

Educational estimates

BuildMetric provides general educational information and mathematical estimates. It does not provide bids, warranties, or tax, accounting, insurance, investment, or legal advice. Results depend on the inputs and assumptions you select. You are responsible for validating those assumptions and for decisions made using a result.

Construction costs and obligations vary substantially by business, project, contract, jurisdiction, and date. Consult qualified professionals and controlling documents before making consequential decisions.

Intellectual property and third-party resources

BuildMetric's original design, writing, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Facts, formulas, and third-party materials remain subject to their respective rights. Links to third-party sources are provided for reference and do not imply endorsement or control.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We may modify or discontinue features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildMetric is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
