Calculator data

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. If you choose to save a scenario, its name and numbers are stored only in that browser’s local storage so you can load them later; BuildMetric does not intentionally receive those values. Clearing browser data removes local scenarios. Do not enter personally identifying payroll or customer data.

The unlisted advisor-pilot workspace also performs pricing-review arithmetic and report generation in the browser. It does not submit client financial values, action notes, or report contents to BuildMetric. If you explicitly save a review, the client display name, assumptions, source statuses, local action notes, methodology version, and update time remain in local storage for that partner and methodology version. The workspace includes controls to delete one review or clear every locally stored version for that partner. An unlisted route is not access control, so use only fictional data during the pilot.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for security, reliability, and aggregate traffic measurement.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to provide. We use that information to respond, investigate reports, and maintain a record of the conversation. We do not sell personal information.

The contractor pricing worksheet is currently available without an email address. BuildMetric does not currently offer an on-site newsletter signup. If that changes, this policy and the signup notice will identify the email provider and explain the consent and unsubscribe process before collection begins.

Cookies, service providers, and retention

With your permission, BuildMetric uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use. Analytics events may identify the calculator used and actions such as starting, completing, printing, sharing, or opening a related tool. We do not send calculator inputs, saved-scenario names, shared URL values, or email addresses in these events. The Google Analytics script is not downloaded and BuildMetric does not contact Google Analytics until you choose Allow analytics. If you continue without analytics, the script remains blocked. You can change the choice by clearing this site's browser data.

Advisor and partner routes do not load analytics. Entering one of those routes removes the BuildMetric analytics runtime from the current document and denies analytics consent for that private workspace without changing your saved public-site choice.

Google and our hosting provider may process limited technical information such as an IP address, device or browser information, requested page, and timestamp to provide analytics, security, and reliable hosting. BuildMetric does not use this information for targeted advertising and does not sell personal information. Their retention and handling practices are governed by their services and our configuration; we do not promise immediate or zero retention.

We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for support, legal, security, and operational purposes. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's operational schedule.

Your choices and contact

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you directly provided, subject to applicable exceptions. Privacy rights vary by location. Contact hello@mybuildmetric.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and enough detail for us to respond. We may need to verify your identity.
